China and Russia sound alarm on global economy

China sounded the alarm about the state of the global economy on Saturday at APEC summit, and Russian President Putin also expresses concern. Meanwhile, chinese companies keep improving their performance in strategic sectors: China’s largest e-commerce firm, Alibaba Group, expects to sell merchandise this year worth more than that sold by Amazon Inc and eBay combined, Alibaba’s chief strategy officer said on Saturday.
